A Bioreactor is a controlled environment where biological processes are used to treat contaminated soil or water. It provides optimal conditions, such as temperature and oxygen levels, to enhance the activity of microorganisms that degrade pollutants. Bioreactors are used in ex situ bioremediation to accelerate the natural degradation of contaminants.
