Soil Flushing

« Back to Glossary Index

Soil Flushing involves applying a liquid, such as water or a chemical solution, to contaminated soil to dissolve and mobilize pollutants. The flushed contaminants are then extracted from the soil for treatment or disposal. This method is effective for treating soils contaminated with soluble substances and can be used in conjunction with other remediation technologies.
